Pydna - 168 BC

Macedonians vs Romans

Historical Background
The stage is set. The battle lines are drawn and you are in command. The rest is history.

War Council

Macedonian Army
Leader: Perseus
Command: 5
Initial Hand Size: 7
Moves first

Roman Army
Leader: Aemilius Paullus
Command: 6
Initial Hand Size: 9

Victory
8 Banners

Special Rules (Optional)
Roman Tactical flexibility. Whenever an unsupported Macedonian Heavy Infantry in non-broken ground terrain is attacked by a Roman medium or heavy infantry unit, if able to battle back, may only use three dice. (This reflects the ability of more maneuverable legions to find the flanks of the phalanx and strike decisively.)
