GMT has chosen to include reference cards for all units, which they have upgraded with each Expansion. Surprisingly, none for the terrain, which is not very much used in the first scenarios but that appears progressively in the different Expansions and C3i scenarios. Someone at BGG made a one-page summary for the terrain. "Read More" if you would like to see how it looks like and how to create it by yourself!! There are seven pages, but you only need the first two, pages 3 to 7 are the same as page 2 but with art from different armies. So choose from page 2 to 7 the army art you like the most, print together with page 1 on both sides of one page, cut upper and lower panels, glue them so that the UNIT panels are side-by-side, and fold them. Folded you'll have the TERRAIN on the back, open you'll have all UNITS at a glance. The front half page tells you what the different symbols mean, though everything is quite intuitive (to me!). A beginner might get lost, but I made it for people who already know the game and just want to remind what a unit that was used some battles ago does. I've used the light chariot example in order to describe the symbols. The * refers to horse vs camel/elephant combat. The file contains all units and terrain up to Exp#3, including Marshes, City Walls and Barbarian Chariots. Enjoy! Miguel |
