Would C&C Ancients be a good system to learn and simulate the historical battles of 7th century Arabia?

I guess if you have enough Eastern Empires blocks for both armies, given the troops types? Also terrain, if any, shouldn't be a problem.

C&C has no fixed scale so the skirmishes could easily be portrayed.

I think building in 'devine intervention' may be tricky but not impossible. Advantages to one side or the other can be represented through limits on command card numbers and/or rewards for taking objectives similar to taking camps.
