Hi, I'm a newbie at this game, in fact I don't even own it yet. I plan on getting it soon, but in the meantime I've been playing solo on Vassal. I have a question about Rampage. When an elephant rampages against other units, what are considered hits against those units? Are swords hit or is it only matching symbols? For example an elephant rampages and the only adjacent unit is a heavy infanty. Two dice are rolled for the rampage, a sword and a red square the results. Is this one hit or two? The reason I'm asking is it seems that if the rampage hits on swords as well in makes rampages overly powerful.
Also, if swords do count, what if there was another elephant unit next to the rampaging unit, would that elephant be hit on the swords rolled since elephants get to ignore sword hits? Thanks for the answers?
