Hi.
I'm having several doubts about rules governing terrains. Keeo in mind that I'm a newbie.
About Fordable Rivers, the 3rd edition rules state "After a successful Close Combat, a unit on a fordable river hex may make a Momentum Advance out of that hex". What does it means? Is it restricted to momentum advance out of other terrains and is it allowed for fordable rivers? (assuming you entered in a previous turn).
Another thing: it's restricted to some units the bonus combat after a momentum advance into the terrain, like broken grounds and forests. Should I assume it's restricted too for fordable rivers? (because you have to stop when enter, as you do in broken grounds and forests).
And finally, how do you resolve momentum advance and bonus combat when you're on the terrain hex and attack a unit on the same terrain as you are?
Thanks a lot.

Hi, Im also newbie and have no much experience, but reading and reading rules and pots..
I understand that, from Fordable Rivers, so like Marsh and any terrain hex where you have to stop when enter, if your unit may battle also may have a momentum advance.
About the last question, I don't really know what you mean.. if you are wondering about dice rolls it depends of the terrain rules (if there is any restrictions like on hills..).
Well, If someone more expert in this matters wanna help..
that's what I understand jmontero. (espaƱol?)

Hi Berfo. Thanks for replying.
I understand that, from Fordable Rivers, so like Marsh and any terrain hex where you have to stop when enter, if your unit may battle also may have a momentum advance.
Yes, but the rulebook explicitly states that you can make a momentum advance out of that hex ... does it reffers to momentum advance out of the river? should I assume that it's not allowed to momentum advance to another river hex? (I mean, remaining inside the river)
In my last question, in other words, I'm asking what rules apply for momentum advancing and bonus combat when both, the attacking and the defending units, are on adjacent terrain hexes (so, you're neither battling into nor out the terrain).
I'm Venezuelan and I speak spanish.
