Only units which are ordered by command cards may can take actions, including ranged combat, and continuing close combat.

When I first played, for some reason we were playing that every close combat triggered a "battle back" event. Of course when we realised how wrong that was we had a bit of a laugh.

Also took a moment to realise the importance of "retreat" directions!

Learning new systems is always fun
